How to Add 1-of-1 NFTs to Your Collection

If you’ve got fully unique pieces you want to include in your collection — like hand-drawn grails — here’s how to add them using [Your App Name]. These 1/1s won’t be part of the generative layers and will show up as standalone NFTs after deployment.

Steps

1. Open the app

Go to: https://nft-maker.xyz/app/generate

2. Click the gear icon next to “Layers”

You’ll see a settings icon next to the “Layers” section on the left. Click it to open the 1-of-1 NFT modal.

3. Upload your 1/1 image

Drag and drop your image into the upload box. This should be a unique, custom NFT — not a trait or layer.

4. Set the trait name

Add a custom trait label under “Trait value.”
This name will appear in the metadata and will help distinguish your 1/1 on marketplaces.

5. Click “Add 1/1 NFT”

That’s it — your 1/1 NFT is now part of your collection.

What Happens After Deployment

When you generate and deploy your collection:

• 1-of-1 NFTs are included as fully custom entries
• They won’t share any traits with the generative set
• They’ll show up on-chain as unique, just like grails in projects like y00ts
